She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has achieved small success as a Mayor.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Matilda grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture
