His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Roland was born the youngest of three triplets. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Stableman for hire.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. Through the years after Murgen was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Murgen's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and doesn't want to be a miner and was forced into it by her family

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
