History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Beatrice alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Diesa grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Diesa. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Shepherd for hire.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Shepherd responsibilities is difficult; and she will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact
