History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Oolah was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Through the years after Gimble was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north.
