Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Cumpen's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: She comes from a rich western family. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was born in the north. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
