Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born in the west to a Dilettante, Smoking learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Dilettante. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: Shane lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has since lost track of the people in his past.
