Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she wears an entirely brown suit with white socks and a vest with buckled shoes. Her silver hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She works hard and plays hard.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Sarah was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This younger middle-aged woman is dressed in earthy colors with a black and white handkerchief worn on her right side, and a wedding ring on her right hand. Her red hair is still thick. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is mildly Half-Orc supremacist, though she does not identify as such. A true patriot, Nella would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. In her youth she was a Cartwright, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger brother on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. Some 2 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Nella never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Personality: Valafar is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: The child of a Glassblower, who enjoyed hunting, Valafar was taken on many hunting expeditions. He worked as a nervous Stylist and found it very stressful. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Stylist for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and sabotage a competitor
