History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Gimgen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She is greedy; and she has money and likes to spend it
