Description: He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it, and he perpetually has his hand crossbow ready. His hair is long and silver with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small white clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Jak was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Marshal arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He now mingles about in high society.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
