History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Salanop was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright.
