History: Volen was born the youngest of three triplets. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: Veloptima hails from a village terrorized by giants. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She bought a flail and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it

History: She comes from a rich western family. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
