History: Melissa hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: She was born into a rich family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She now mingles about in high society.
