Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He got into the Bookbinder business at a young age. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Wants a kiss; and obtaining odd cultural half-elven artifacts is his passion

History: She was born into a rich family. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. Being a Detective kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Description: This man stands a little under 3'0" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a robe, a symbol of death around his neck, and a morningstar on his belt. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. A gifted student he started as a Marshal, but he got bored and became a Interpreter. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Burto fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
