History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Astar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Astar's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Alvyn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
