Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a brown shirt, with a blue mid length shorts with blue tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. His chestnut hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of illithids

Description: This slender woman stands about 3'11". She is dressed in a clean grey cloak covering her clean studded leather. With wild golden hair. Her eyes are hazel and catlike.
Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She takes great joy in being the best Blacksmith in town.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Marastyr grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.
Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Gnomish people; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Description: He wears baggy grey pantaloons and a tan scarf, and carries monstrous two handed axes. His long black hair reaches down to his waist. His fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Apothecary born in the past three hundred years. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: Drogo was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Drogo fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Serpent On the Water, Female Tabaxi [Permalink]

Description: This slender woman stands about 5'2". She wears pastel trousers with brown and black striped suspenders. She wears various colorful collared shirts. Her orange fur is drawn into a tight pony tail with a cross scrunchie. Her eyes are copper.
Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. The war was a terrible time for her, and Serpent does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.
History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Serpent grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Serpent. Being a Fletcher kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she loathes her own lifestyle
