History: Born in the south to a Priest, Gilkass learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and balancing her hectic life and new priest responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and to end his boredom

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She takes great joy in being the best Beggar in town.

History: She was born in a small forest village. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is her passion
