History: He was born in the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it.

The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
