History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Gnomes. His skin is light but he possesses many pastel ritualistic tattoos. He wears a robe, a symbol of luck around his neck, and a shield on his belt. He keeps his long black hair kept up in a rat tail. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Oppleby's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.

Personality: Rathkran is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He worked as a nervous Animal Trainer and found it very stressful. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Animal Trainer for the past few years.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and balancing his hectic life and new animal trainer responsibilities is difficult

Description: This younger middle-aged woman has the majority of her body covered in plate, and a wedding ring on her right hand. Her red fur is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. Her eyes are amber.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Cloak was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Cloak never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
