She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Valanthe was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered singing. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
