History: She comes from a rich western family. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Perra grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Perra. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Myathethil was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

History: Born to a Performer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Hugh was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Hugh's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and retire the richest man in the north
