History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Osco alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Fisher. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
