Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Richard was born the youngest of three triplets. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he's looking for his big break

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears dull white sweaters, loose blue pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed crossbow, just in case, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His hair is cut close to his head. His gray eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Miller. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and money/treasure
