History: Hogar hails from a village terrorized by giants. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gardain grew up listening to his father's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
