History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

History: She was born in the east. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bather. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and a strong sense of loyalty to halfling people
