History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Shamil was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Tanner, and she later adopted a second son.

History: Ownka was born the youngest of three triplets. When Ownka reached her early adolescence her Half-Orc father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
