Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. The war was a terrible time for her, and Mella does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mella fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Berrian was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He bought a monstrous two handed axe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Half-Elven people; and half-elven compassion

Description: This late middle aged man likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather and is in decent physical shape. He sports a flattop crest cut. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shipwright. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Shipwright.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Urshar hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. Some 2 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Urshar never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it
