Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Anne enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
