To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bertram. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Fortune-teller for the past few years.

His first spouse was a Bowyer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Seamstress and was forced into it by his family.

He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Tippletoe was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She found a children's book about a Gnome Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
