History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Tim never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and a strong sense of loyalty to gnomish people

History: She was born into a rich family. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and her religion dominates her actions
