History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Beggar kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

History: Born to a Bellfounder, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her parents enrolled her in a Rogue school at a young age so that she could practice her arcane talents. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
