History: She was born into a rich family. Vola was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Vola decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Sellsword. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was born in the south. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and balancing his hectic life and new sellsword responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Butcher arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Dean was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.
