Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. Hadarai enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hadarai grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bookbinder they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Mayor, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Crown-heir. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Felosial lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She dropped out of school to support her sick mother, and resented it. She has achieved small success as a Crown-heir.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister
