Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Varis's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Varis was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Actor. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

History: Dorn was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Dorn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Carter for the past few years.
