History: Born to a Servant, his father struggled to pay the bills. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Borgu and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and an old rival family wants him found

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
