History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Vanuath was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Reddlepop grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Reddlepop. She struck the Carter job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
