Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Born in the east to a Courier, Lia learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. Being a Courier kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Riardon lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
