History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bellfounder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Gurdis never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dwarven companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
