History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Travok was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Travok's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Valanthe lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She became a Painter soon after.
