His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Architect they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Locksmith, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
