Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Nil's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Half-Elven culture. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and further expansion of business

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Born to a Bookbinder, her father struggled to pay the bills. While she appears to be a normal Half-Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life.
