History: Shágflak was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she's looking for her big break

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.
