History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bellfounder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Orc conditions. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and a strong sense of loyalty to gnomish people

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Henry's homeland. Henry decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard.
