History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Melissa grew up listening to her father's many stories. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She came across an abandoned tomb where she found a relic that called out to her. After picking it up she was cursed by vampirism.

Personality: Rolf wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Bard, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
