Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Born in the east to a Guard, Zephan learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Zephan abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has achieved small success as a Guard.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Carter. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Carter for the past few years.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and balancing her hectic life and new carter responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
