History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Servant. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Carlin enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Carlin hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Carlin was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he is wearing a long, brown cloak. His long blonde hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Aldous lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Dyer but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
