After coming to the age of reason, Hadwisa took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Decarabia was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the orcs.
