History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Morthos was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. After coming to the age of reason, Morthos took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Morthos never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Shipwright for the past few years.
