History: Born in the east to a Painter, Jade learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She worked as a nervous Soapmaker and found it very stressful. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and further expansion of business

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He got into the Engraver business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Brewer, but he got bored and became a Engraver. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Engraver for the past few years.
