Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Gnomes. His skin is dark but he possesses many black ritualistic tattoos. He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. He has a chestnut handlebar mustache and slicked back chestnut hair. He has several tiny opal earrings on each ear.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking eastern young adult. He wears a black costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His crest, while still mostly brass, has prominent grey streaks. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rathkran grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rathkran. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This woman is tall and muscular. She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her white hair is thinning but still full. Her blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: Born in the south to a Bellfounder, Oriff learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: A stocky lighter skinned woman, she wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. She wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover her moderate length white hair. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
