History: Modean lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was born in the north. Hunter was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Miller. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Spy. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls.
